PumpSync syncs your pump data to Apple Health when you request a sync and, after initial setup, automatically checks for any pump data not yet synced when the app opens and during iOS background refresh opportunities. It aims to keep Apple Health less than four hours behind, but iOS may delay background work. PumpSync is intended for personal data portability and recordkeeping.
PumpSync is not a medical device. PumpSync does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or dosing recommendations.
PumpSync output may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, or inaccurate. Users are responsible for verifying health data and making medical decisions with qualified healthcare professionals.
Users are responsible for:
PumpSync is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tandem Diabetes Care. Tandem Source availability, authentication, rate limits, and data formats may change without notice. PumpSync may stop working if Tandem changes its services or terms.
PumpSync writes data to Apple Health only after the user grants permission. Apple Health permissions and stored Health records are managed through Apple; see Apple Support: view and delete Health data.
Users may remove Tandem credentials in the app. Users may request deletion of subscription and installation metadata stored by the PumpSync-hosted backend using the account and data deletion instructions.
Users may not use PumpSync to access another person's data without authorization, interfere with PumpSync services, bypass rate limits, reverse engineer service protections, or use PumpSync for unlawful purposes.
PumpSync may be unavailable, delayed, or discontinued. Beta and TestFlight builds may be reset or changed without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PumpSync is provided as-is and without warranties. PumpSync's developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for medical, health, data loss, service interruption, or third-party service issues arising from use of PumpSync.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so some terms may not apply.
These terms may be updated as PumpSync changes. Continued use after an update means the user accepts the updated terms.
